Privacy policy

The short version: kova.md doesn't use cookies, doesn't run analytics or advertising scripts, and doesn't ask you to create an account. We're not trying to collect data about you.

What we don't collect

This site has no cookies, no third-party analytics (Google Analytics, Plausible, etc.), no ad or tracking scripts, and no forms that collect personal information. There is no login, no comment system, and nothing here reads or shares data with third parties.

Your theme preference

When you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved using your browser's localStorage — a small piece of storage that stays on your device. It's never sent to us or to anyone else, it isn't used to identify or track you, and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

Server logs

Like effectively every website, requests to kova.md pass through hosting and network infrastructure that keeps standard technical logs for security and reliability purposes — things like IP address, browser user-agent, the page requested, and a timestamp. We don't use these logs to build profiles or track individuals, don't sell or share them, and they're retained only as long as needed for that operational purpose.

The documentation wiki

The documentation at wiki.kova.md is built with the same principles: no cookies, no analytics, no trackers. The same server-log note above applies there too.

This site links out to GitHub and other third-party services. Once you follow one of those links, that site's own privacy policy applies — we have no control over what they do with your data.

If that changes

If we ever add analytics, embeds, or anything else that processes personal data, we'll update this page first and, where required by law, ask for your consent before it happens.
